a Day of Coding 

At Pink Programming Sunday we meet up and code together for a day. Which programming language and what you work with is completely up to you. If you are a beginner and don't know where to start, we will help you get started!

You don't need any prerequisites to attend, all you need to do is to bring your own laptop and register prior to the event. Of course everything is completely free of charge, including lunch, coffee and snacks.

If you have registered and need to cancel for some reason - please do so through the link provided in the registration email. We have a limited number of spots, and someone else will be happy to take your place!

Program for the day

10:00 - 10:15   Welcome and short introduction by Pink Programming
10:15 -10:30    Presentation of Hypergene and practical information
10:30 - 12:30   Workshops/Free programming
12:30 - 13:15   Lunch
13:15 - 14:00   Inspirational talk by Maria Nielsen and Ulrica Leander
14:00 - 15:45   Worskhops/Free programming
15:45 - 16:00   End of the day with final goodbyes

Additional information All women and transgender people of all ages and programming experience levels are welcome. All you need to bring is a laptop and a pair of headphones for tutorials. The event is free of charge and a free lunch will be served. And please note that there will be a limited number of spots for the workshops. You will receive an email regarding if you have a spot on the workshop or not.

1. Bygg din första hemsida - För nybörjare (2h)

Se på när en webbutvecklare bygger upp en bild på en tänkt hemsida steg för steg, häng med på egna laptopen och ställ gärna frågor längs vägen. Victoria visar just det som ni undrar över! #versionshantering #git #flexbox #sass #jekyll #publicera en hemsida på nätet

3. Api:er - för de som har programmerat lite mer än bara några få timmar (1h)

Introduktion till vad api:er är, hur de fungerar, och så använder vi ett verktyg (POSTman app) för att prata med ett riktigt api. " You'll become familiar with terms like; HTTP verbs, response headers, json/xml, and get to explore a real live API hands on with modern tools. No previous coding experience required. Welcome to level up your skills in an area that is already, and increasingly, relevant today! This is a hands-on presentation & workshop. Bring your own computer. Sharing a computer (2-3 people) works just fine. "

Jag är i grunden civilingenjör inom medieteknik. Jag har jobbat med teknisk dokumentation och projektledning på bland annat Saab Bofors Dynamics i Linköping och på Nederman AB i Helsingborg. På Hypergene jobbar jag på utvecklingsavdelningen med dokumentation, online-hjälp och utbildning.

Victoria Wagman
Workshop leader

Victoria Wagman works as a developer with 46elks, a Swedish startup that offers SMS, MMS and voice calls through an API. Making telephony much more accessible to companies, where barriers to entry were previously in the thousands of dollars to get set up. Victoria runs on vegetable juice and has been working as a developer for the past 7 years. She's passionate about learning, and is very happy to share any knowledge she's developed along the way.
